Today we commemorate Labor Day in the United States, one of the most hard-working countries in the world. This holiday honors the American labor movement and the contributions that workers have made to the strength, prosperity, laws, and well being of the country.
As we celebrate our everyday efforts, we wonder… what is the motivation behind getting up every morning and do what we do every day? Do we work to live or do we live to work? Do we know what we do is contributing to those around us, and even beyond?
The workplace environment has been evolving into a place where you not only work but you also live: The importance of a place where we can interact as family and be with each other in community has become a priority to our current generation of interconnected emotionally intelligent entrepreneurs and professionals.
When seeking for balance in our lives, our work and professional priorities get sorted out where permanent things matter more than temporary ones, a place where affection, solidarity, sincerity, integrity and morals are more important than ambition and empty goals.
When we found WeWork a couple of months ago, a chain of collaborative works places worldwide, which motto is "a space, community, and services you need to make a life, not just a living", we found a place where we could connect with like-minded individuals who love what they do, and a place where we were welcomed as family. Through a place where you are in community, the opportunity to help others with your knowledge and talents is more attainable, and your ways of growing your business are more creative and innovative.
As we wish you a happy Labor Day, it is our wish that you would be giving your best in everything that you do, because there is no little or big job, but a every job makes a part in creating our world, in making it better every day!
